AS#'s and IP Space (PI/PA)

RIPE Member / Local Internet Registry

We are a Local Internet Registry (LIR) within the Ripe NCC service region.  Anyone that needs IP Addresses or Autonomous System Numbers within this region has to either

• a) Join RIPE as an LIR,

or

• b) obtain IP Address allocations via an existing LIR.

As Full Ripe NCC members we are able to apply for Autonomous System Numbers, Provider Independent (PI) IP Address space or allocate from our own Provider Aggregatable (PA) IP Space. We can also supply IPv6 address space to ISP's and end user organisations alike.

RIPE rules and regulations must be adhered to at all times and therefore supply of the these services is subject to RIPE approval.  This is a uniform and fair policy which all providers within the RIPE region adhere to.

We do not charge for AS numbers, IPv4 or IPv6 Address Space, but we do charge administration fees to cover our costs.
